Acid Stain / Dyes

"Experience the lasting beauty, durability and elegance of acid stains and dyes"

Stains

Acid stains chemically react with the surface of cured concrete to produce unique and permanent color effects. An uneven, variegated, or translucent effect much like natural stone is obtained through the procedure. The result is unique to each concrete surface and cannot be duplicated with other coloring materials. The special color effect gives the surface distinction. Chemically stained floors are easy to maintain and offer superior durability and abrasion resistance. They will not fade, chip, crack or peel and wear only as the concrete wears.

Dyes

Concrete dyes are nonreactive and impart color by penetrating concrete or other porous cementitious surfaces. Dyes are much smaller in particle size than chemical stains or acrylic stains, thus allowing for easier penetration and color saturation while leaving less residue on the surface.  Because there is virtually no residue, minimal cleanup is required, greatly speeding the application process.

Depending on how they are applied, dyes can produce looks ranging from monotone and uniform in color to marbling and variegated similar to the look of acid stain. Dyes may be used alone, combined or applied over another color to create monochromatic, multishaded, multicolored, variegated and unique designs that will not chip, crack or peel and installs in one third the time as reactive acid stains or water based stains.

Both

Concrete stains and dyes are often used together to achieve a whole new set of design options and colors that cannot be achieved alone.

Stencils

Stenciling can be done in both freshly poured concrete or in existing concrete that has been covered by an overlay. Stencils for concrete come in many different patterns such as brick, stone, slate and tiles. Stencils can also be custom made to replicate your company logo or any decoration you want to put on your countertop or floor.

Custom stencil pricing and design fees are based on the overall size and complexity of your design, as well as the material and time required to complete the stencil.

Decorative Overlays

"Don’t replace it…restore it"

Decorative overlays are a good option for restoring already existing concrete. It is often more cost effective than replacing the existing concrete with new concrete.

Acrylic

An acrylic overlay is a spray texture overlay that is applied directly over your existing concrete. There are unlimited patterns, colors, and designs to choose from.  Our acrylic overlay is twice as strong as concrete and up to 30% cooler making it perfect for pools and patios, walkways, stairways, driveways as well as any other concrete surface. Our acrylics are also
  • Oil, gas, and grease resistant
  • Salt, fertilizer and stain resistant
  • Ultra violet resistant

Stamped

Stamped overlays offer unlimited design options. A thin overlay is placed over the existing concrete and then stamped. It can be shaped, imprinted, textured, and colored to achieve any look imaginable. Stamped overlays can blend harmoniously with almost any type of architecture or landscape, making it suitable for everything from residential pool decks to commercial walkways.

Hand Troweled

Hand trowled overlays give the concrete a smooth or a textured appearance. A thin overlay is applied by using a hand trowel to spread the microtopping in a desired pattern.
